The competition is open to -

  • All residents of East & West Hagbourne and Upton

  • Families with children at Hagbourne School and / or Hagbourne Pre-School

  • Anyone with an allotment at Butts Piece, East Hagbourne

Competition Terms & Conditions

  • All Wildlife Garden Competition entries must be sent in before midnight on 6th June 2021.

  • All entries using photographs must be original images, taken/produced by the entrant. You must own all rights to the image and in entering the competition you agree to allow us to use your garden image(s) on the HUGS gallery page, further promotions, on social media or in print.

  • Entrants agree that their names and village or town they live in may or may not be published with their entry. No other details will be shared with any third parties.

  • Shortlisted gardens will be visited by judges during July (government COVID-19 guidance allowing). The winning entry and two runners up will be selected based on their diversity of wildlife-friendly features and practices. The judges’ decision is final.

  • The winner and two runners up will be announced in August.
