Great Big Green Week 2021 18th to 26th September
This will be the biggest UK event for nature and climate ever held, the Great Big Green Week. With support from the Climate Coalition, there will be more than 3000 local events around the UK celebrating action for climate change and nature’s recovery. HUGS will be running 2 events here as part of the week:
HUGS Sponsored Wild Walk
Any time between the 18th and 26th of September follow our Wild Walk Route, a 2 mile, circular route linking all 3 villages. And use our sponsorship form to raise some money for tree and hedge planting in the 3 parishes this winter. Online Climate Solutions Workshop
Heather Comina of Climate concepts will be running a free online workshop at 8pm on Monday the 20th of September to explore which actions will have the most impact. Heather’s workshop is part of the Reading Climate Festival but everyone is welcome to register for the event.
