Meadow Morning 2024

How lucky to spend a morning in a wildflower meadow. Calming to the senses whatever the weather. A gentle blaze of colour, bird song for the ears and the soul. The fresh fragrance of flowers as you brush the edges of the meadow. And the alternating feel of sun and rain on the skin.

Cynth Napper did a tour of the meadow explaining its history and how it’s managed every year. A record number of orchids this year. Both common spotted and southern marsh and plenty of hybrids too.

We were really pleased to be joined by local artists and photographers, all capturing the beauty of the meadow.
